* 0/24/2010 A Comment was made on Chris Mathews show that this election will turn out a higher number of democrats. That is probably true, but it has a negative effect. Many democrats now are flipped replubicans who register democrat to make decisions in primary elections. In our district their is 6000. registered Republicans whom vote and 20,000. Democrats whom vote. Republicans have won 4 delegate seats every 2 years since 1992, except 1 seat in one term that went Democrat. Talking to a few persons in Southern WV, that is what they do. Sign up Democrat, vote Primary, and you can vote either way in primary. Many Lawyers in Charleston have switched or now just sign up Democrat, when they formerly would be Republican.
* Comment On Williams & NPR. I'm strong on allowing comments. NPR may feel that Williams can't If someone travels on a plane in robes and turban or Scarves, then I suspect Royalty, and the person probably wouldn't be on a Commercial Airline, God or Jesus returning to Earth, Arab Counties, Muslim, and/or others. It could be an uncomfortable situation. Persons could dress with robes and scarves, just to be a bomber who isn't Muslim, but wants to destroy plane and make it look as a Muslim attack. I can't fly naked, or in short shorts, as inappropriate wear, so draw a line somewhere, If you are flying on an Arab Country Airline, then dress as the other passengers or your customs, On a World airline, wear a scarf, but pack the Robes. I Can't wear a Hoodie into any store in most towns in America, because it is a threat. Williams or anyone should be able to say it makes them uncomfortable to be on a plane when someone is wearing such attire. 10/24/2010
* Feeling Jilted by the Government, I couldn't get $4500.00 for clunkers, because my clunkers were old but changing to a newer vehicle wouldn't qualify because my three 1994, 1995 and 1989 vehicles were rated good MPG vehicles!
*After 55 years of watching NBC, WE aren't receiving good signal anymore since conversion to Digittal, and WSAZ doesn't care. Time for a new NBC station Air To Antenna Digital
* PRIMEAMERICA FOLLOWUP.Filed for Disability with them. They mailed forms; One to file disability, and one to waive premium. The premium waiver can't be filed it states until you have been disabled for six months. YOU MUST FILE DISABILITY WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF LEARNING ABOUT DISABILITY! Filed request for disability, and received a letter, THAT SAYS "YOU CAN'T FILE FOR DISABILITY WAIVER UNTIL AFTER SIX MONTHS! " Ok, Catch 22, if you know what that means. You can't file for six months, But you must file within six months. What? I have only a few minutes to sign up in exactly six months? WeLL, of course I called, and the person who wrote letter avoided me. I told her staff that I was filing Disability, not waiver of premium yet. But her staff tried to explained "It is The same Thing!" The Waiver is the Disability! Why did Primerica send me two forms- both different claims if both are the same.... Now a ploy I think not to pay a simple $800. per month. 10/24/2010

*Credit Card companies and the fees they charge is a little rediculous. When the payment is 12 hours late, or two days late it should not be a $39.00 fee. It should be $39.00 for 30 days late and a reasonable $1.00 or $1.50 per day for every day late. Whatever the reason, the Card companies should treat consumers better. Mail running slow or late, the person working long hours or out of town for several weeks. It Happens. I very seldom have a late fee, but usually get stuck for the reason of long hours or out of town, and family matters, sickness or other. 04/2010
*PrimeAmerica Insurance just stuck an economic Knife to my spouse and I. We took what was called a 95 term Insurance policy 20 years ago. Two years past my son reached 25 and his coverage was too expensive for too little. Now we received a letter Dec. 4, 2008 that states they want to convert our 95 term policy to a ten year term at almost double the $33.06 they were charging for past 20 years. Because I'm 53 years old? But if we continue with the 95 Term Insurance our premium becomes $173.00 per month as of February 01, 2009. That is rediculous. If they can get by with that, I want our money back. The 95 Term was supposed to continue until we were 95, and didn't say rate would be 5 times as much at 20 years. It was supposed to be a decreasing payout after age 65. We will file complaints to WV Insurance Commissioner and WV Attorney General. May be worth filing charges and lawsuits for recovery. 03/2009
* Do you get it or don’t you? The Change to Digital TV, Benefits who? Benefits Satellite Industry! Benefits Cable Industry! Benefits Telephone DSL if you can get that either! Gives the Government Low Band VHF, supposedly for lottery to other needs. Most of all look at all the persons who couldn’t get boxes went out and purchased Digital Televisions. But it must be bull. One of our local Television Stations had an analog transmitter fail which is VHF, but with that out of the way, instead of UHF, they went back to Digital VHF. That blows a few stations out of the bandwidths. Gray Television Media is now broadcasting UHF, and we can’t receive it as digital, but on Analog, it was usually the best of all stations, and we can pick them all super nice except No Channel 3 WSAZ as it was always the best Analog station. We’ve got an Excellent picture on all other converted stations. 02/2009
Now, what has been wrong, is action. Though started several years past, FCC still did nothing to outline a transition. ‘Just Do it By Feb 17, 2009.’ I couldn’t get boxes until JUNE 2009, and those stores that foresight orders, have shelves empty by evening. You Couldn’t, or can’t get coupons. No Converter Boxes! The newer Converter boxes have changed and don’t work well, especially channel 3 or 4, devices that use Rf connecting cables.
Who loses? The public loses good stations such as WSAZ. These over -the -air stations push watch us on Cable and Satellite. If I get Satellite or Cable, I’m not going see very much of WSAZ. There are other NBC feeds, and a whole lot more to see. Even though you get a converter box, or new Digital Television, you still need Antenna outdoors that can pickup UHF and VHF, and cabling to bring in better signal and Rotator to adjust antenna in direction of Digital signal. I Don't watch commercials on Cable nor Satellite.
Ah Ha! They really thought that one out! Digital and especially UHF is Directional Transmission! Analog Signals bounce and radiate from different angles. That is why you sometimes see shadows or ghost picture on older television. Digital is like a stream, it flows out from the antenna in one direction. If not pointed directly towards transmission antenna, you won’t likely receive Digital, and could have to adjust between stations. No station will line up their towers with others.
Advertisers lose! I watch commercials on over-the-air networks as support, but if I pay for cable or Dish Satellite systems I believe those should be commercial free or really limited. I am already paying for the privilege of service, and the Cable and Satellite Companies are making money hand over foot with commercials. So I usually don’t pay attention to commercials on paid for services.
*Paperless??? Computers were to make a paperless society. Everyday, everywhere we turn, someone, or something, is telling us to go paperless. We Can't. I am so tired of credit card companies and others saying "signup online and go paperless." The Company, whomever they are, may be paperless and , stamp less, but not on our end. If we want a copy of the statement, we have to print it out, and most computer database for statements end up using several pages of paper for what normally would be on one piece. You make a payment, you must print a payment confirmation. Most of the multiple companies I deal with, don't have a site where you can save your statement, or your your confirmation to your computer, because it doesn't save or won't save correctly, so you must print it, to have it for your records. IT SAVES PAPER AND TIME FOR THE COMPANY SENDING STATEMENTS OR INVOICES, NOT FOR THE CONSUMER. I have not had a computer that was totally trustworthy to save documents since 1995 . I have one currently, with all my Tax years that is only 1 1/2 years old, but a Microsoft update Service Pack 3 for XP, disabled it for the fact the Service pack 3 was only for Intel Processor Computers,and it wiped out my AMD processor control in BIOS. Microsoft told me they would help by supplying the Startup Application disk needed to restore a .DLL file and then haven't responded since. The government needs to force the issue of better (OS) Operating Systems.
*We Wish to state in the crisis of rising Fuel Prices, The United States Government, via The IRS, must start giving deductions for fuel costs and vehicle expenses. As small Business over past years we have been disallowed recorded expenses because the IRS has been directed to disallow for small businesses a percentage, and disallow for Individuals most of the expense if not all.
We have also tracked individuals with vehicles getting 22 to 24 Mile per Gallon and traveling in a radius of 20 miles of home 75% being travel to work, and rest errands without pleasure or entertainment to cost an average $250.00 and a second vehicle adding an additional $200. per month fuel costs only. With the cost of the average low end vehicle being $300 per month without taxes and insurance which can add another $60- $80. per month. This account an average of $630.00 to operate one vehicle where all the profits and proceeds end in some business pocket, not the family person.
The Government needs to allow for all fuel expense and likely reasonable vehicle expense deduction from Net Wages even if it requires a 1099 form submitted to suppliers. This is for all classes of people, and should allow for two vehicles for married couples at 100% deduction. 12 Months times $630.00 per month is $7500. for only one vehicle which a majority of lower income wage earners.
* If You have heard the News that MSN is wanting to Buy Yahoo to make this "Created Huge Group TransFormer " that can defeat Google. Get REAL! MSN sees Yahoo as the possible Leverage, we won't deny, but what they can do with Yahoo, Both Yahoo and MSN could do without the other if they got the ram out of their... Yahoo could do it by theirself, as could MSN, and the money that is being spent to do this, is a waste, if The one Yahoo or MSN would use the assets they have, and do what Google has done. Create , or Buy and Develope the Little Groups. YouTube and things like that don't just appear beacause MSN joined with Yahoo. MSN is scared of losing what they gave up years past, and think they can recover by buying Yahoo which was similar to the Line they left in the eDust years ago. Microsoft threw off the little computer person years ago. Buying into Yahoo and screwing it up, is exactly why MSN is where its at Now. No Creativity! Buying into Yahoo, might Buy into Creativity, But then they start Hacking people or peeing them off, and there goes another good thing. MSN as Yahoo should Build from the ground up. OhHell, if you want to be like Google, why not join MSN with Yahoo, and Buy Google! Darn, that would be too easy. This writer is seeing another old story where a Company takes over a company in a flailing "we must Survive" and probably drowns both. Studebaker Buys Gravely Tractor in early 1960(s) in attempt to save Studebaker, imposes the same restaraints on Gravely Division that destroyed Studebaker to begin with, and strangled Gravely Tractor to Stroke condition, and Gravely has been crippled ever since. *We want to reiterate what we are hearing from all the people around us. The Different States and Times for Caucuses, Polls, and Primarys is not setting well with the masses. For National Campaigns in this century the cost is so great, the Primary(s) should be like General Elections, ON THE SAME DAY! It really makes no sense for A State to eliminate all the Candidates before my State has its Primary 4 Months after the Candidates have been eliminated. It is allowing Another State, another group of people to take away my Rights to Vote. We Seek, Demand that United States Congress Restore our Constitutional Rights of Equality. We Need an Orderized Same Day Primary, that allows Candidates to stomp where they can hope to win, without persuasion by other States, or The Elimination of Candidates before I vote. By Failing my Constitutionality of Equal Rights, aSupreme Court should intervene and stop the repression of Our Rights.
